Wow! I've only been with Panthur for a few days but I am already extremely impressed. I was looking into new hosts for my reseller account which holds 25 websites and emails and I wanted somewhere that was brilliant with customer service and could explain technical issues without skipping on details. As soon as I called Panthur for the first time, not only did I have every question answered without a blink, but I was assured that all my accounts would be transferred without any down-time or loss of data.

My experience:
We have three hosted domains. Following a series of issues with our then existing provider, we decided to look at alternatives.
The decision drivers were the usual: Price, Performance and Support.
Short listing process:
Utilising personal business contacts (two of whom implement websites) and reviewing forums (including whirlpool), we looked for providers that had more good than bad reviews.
Review-wise, Panthur came up as all good. There were some question posted on Whirlpool, to which Panthur responded directly and intelligently.
Selection process:
In reviewing Panthur (against the others in our short-list), it was apparent Panthur are relatively new and fairly small. Nonetheless, they presented professionally and the information on their website was informative (the company checked out, as did their server structure and capability claims).
The Panthur product offerings were competitive, with a suite of features and price-packaging that met or exceeded all of our requirements. (Full details are available on their web site)
NB: They offer Linux-based solutions only, which suites us but not everyone.
I ran some speed testing (using ping), and the Panthur round trip delay times were consistent with other business-class providers (at around 20ms).
NB: Testing some “cost-effective” providers yields round trip delay times were around 200ms.
Telephone dealings with Panthur during the selection process where both intelligent and timely (with virtually no wait period).
Implementation:
We switched over and everything went so smoothly I can honestly say I was amazed.
We are delighted by their account and domain user management systems, which are both intuitive and supported with help. Most of what needed to be done we could ourselves (with only a minutes orientation).
Any questions raised through their ticketing system were responded to quickly (typically within 10 minutes) and provided clear and direct answers.
The times I had to phone in were met with immediate and well informed responses.
Our sites were operating and configured on Panthur within no time at all. In fact any delays in the process were at our end (mainly due in gaining necessary information from our previous provider).
I can only recommend that anyone looking at web hosting should have Panthur in their short list.

For all the newbies out there like me:
A few months ago I ventured into my first hosting situation. I read all the shite on recommendation sites but followed a friends advice and hooked up with Panthur.
Well, all I can say is these guys are great. Their patience seems to know no ends and they have answered all my newbie style questions (aka dumb) quickly, efficiently and have never been pretentious or looked down on me.
In addition, they have pulled my butt out of a sling when I stuffed up everything. There was a small charge for the work (believe me, I stuffed up large) but the charge was agreed upon upfront and when the work was done they came back to me and charged me less because it took less time to fix than anticipated - now who does that these days?
The biggest thing for me though has been how fas these guys are. When emailing Panthur, they give "send & receive" a whole new meaning as I hit send and it seems almost straight away they are coming back to me with an answer or advice.

To my surprise, Adam answered the phone and knew exactly what was needed to get me going again. The "installatron" loaded WordPress without hitch and everything works as it's supposed to. It's only about 2 weeks since I joined, but early indications are that this is going to be an outstanding host.

The sign up process was very easy and painless. The transfer of my domains and sites across was done very quickly and with no issues at all, so I did not experience any downtime at all.
I had a few questions in regards to functionality and some features, which were answered in a very short timespan, minutes rather than hours. Most of these emails were sent pretty late in the evening as well.
I could highly recommend Panthur. Their prices are at least as good, or in my case actually better than my old US host, and you also get fast and local support when you need it.
Dont hesitate like I did for years before making the leap. You wont be sorry if you come over.

I found Panthur by chance while scouring Whirlpool for an alternative to the woeful and inept responses I kept getting from "Competitor". Every Whirlpool entry was filled with glowing praise for Panthur, and now I know why. The changeover to their web hosting service was straightforward, took a couple of days at most, didn't cost me the effort of 12 emails (and counting, this was when I abandoned "Competitor" as a potential web host) and it was cheap.I didn't want anything complicated, and a small uncomplicated service was one of the choices on offer. I just wanted to drop you a few lines and offer you some unsolicited feedback on how I went tonight transferring my sites over to PANTHUR
Firstly I came over from "Competitor" Hosting due to them doubling their rates overnight. I would have stayed if it was a modest increase however I think the "Competitor" takeover of the smaller "Competitor" had a lot to do with the dramatic increase.
Transferred 4 Joomla sites tonight without any problems whatsoever
Your website and ease of signing up >>>> well organised
Documentation and Order question inclusion upon signup >>>> nice touch
Server speed >>>>> faster than "Competitor" including WHM and cPanel
DNS propogation >>> 2hrs
Rates as you know are dirt cheap and I have already written a review on an aussie webmasters forum to let others know of my positive experience. I will write some more when I have been here a little longer...
All in all you are on the right track and have ticked all the boxes from a customers point of view.......... Word has it that your customer service is your strength.... judging how you have it all setup one can see this without even having to experience it.
Anyways thats my 2 bobs worth, just wanted to let you know what I was thinking.... It makes my day a hell of a lot easier when your server is customer friendly.....

I'm Grant Derepas the head web designer here at IT That Works in Perth and consequently the main person responsible for all of our clients web hosting. We transferred to PANTHUR from a US based hosting company with servers in the Ukraine and support staff from who knows where.
After moving the first few sites over to PANTHUR we noticed the following.
Roughly 3x faster loading times on our sites
With this alone we were mighty impressed.
We did have a slight problem in the fact that some of our older websites were coded in asp which doesn't work on linux and cpanel. This had skipped my mind when we ordered the hosting but does not affect us greatly as it is only a few older sites we will maintain on a separate host.
Every time I have contacted the support staff either by phone or live chat I have received help within 5 minutes which is excellent. The support staff are knowledgeable and helpful and got things right the first time (unlike our former hosts).
Overall we here at IT That Works have been very pleased with PANTHUR's service, support and costs. We plan to continue using PANTHUR well into the foreseeable future.

Migrated 8 sites over to Panthur as I was having problems with my current provider. The service I received was first class and the migration was completed without one single glitch. Apart from redelegating my nameservers I had little input, the tech team completed the task within 2 hours. Having my website with a large Australian host for over 5 years, I was starting to have problems with the traffic and processor usage on my MPS. The customer service I was also receiving for a long term customer was starting to lack badly to and my site was suffering.
After speaking to Adam at Panthur he suggested he would be able move my site to his server, and host it for a third of the price I was paying. He also suggested he would be able to manage the service better than my previous host.
Well after 1 month on Panthur, all I can say is why didnt I know about them earlier. Thus far no down time, and a huge saving. Thanks Adam.

I am very impressed with how much you have contacted us and helped during the hosting migration. You have been very quick to respond to all queries (even the silly little spelling error ones I sent!), and have offered plenty of knowledge. One thing I hate about the larger hosting or domain companies are the long wait times for support, and unhelpful answers from level one techs. You know what your talking about, and can express yourself quite well.
I tried the live support feature on your website and chatted with Joe (RE stats access without using cPanel), and he was also very helpful.
